Details:
This session will start the Monday night curriculum over from the beginning. It's a good opportunity for new people interested in Chi Running to start attending as well as previous attendees to continue to review and improve their technique. This session will review the Chi Running posture which is the cornerstone of the Chi Running technique. This group session will not involve any running as posture is reviewed in the standing (still) position.
__________________________

These sessions will take place outdoors from 7:00PM to 8:00PM in the Terry Fox facility parking lot.

There will be no charge and anyone is welcome regardless of ChiRunning knowledge or running ability.

There is no registration but I appreciate if people contact me by email if they are planning to attend so I can estimate the numbers to deal with.

The goals of the sessions are to grow the Chi Running community in the Ottawa/Gatineau area by (i) bringing Chi Runners in the area together (ii) and help both new and existing Chi Runners develop/refine their technique.

If you are following a training program and Mondays are normally your rest days, no problem, the sessions will have very little actual running and will consist mostly of light drills designed to help with your form.

The sessions will not spend time on trying to sell you on the Chi Running technique, but rather to help you implement it effectively. So if you are new to Chi Running and are not sure whether it's for you, my recommendation is to first read the book "Chi Running: A Revolutionary Approach to Effortless, Injury-Free Running" available at Chapters, Amazon or the Chi Running web site www.chirunning.com.

You can also take one of Eric Collard's Ottawa Chi Running workshops designed to provide a complete hands-on overview of the Chi Running technique. Information on Eric's workshops can be found on his website at http://www.ecinc.ca/chirunning.html.

If you are interested in the sessions or have any general questions or questions on application of the technique, don't hesitate to contact me at mstashin@runeffortlessly.com. Updates will be posted on this website and www.runeffortlessly.com.
